I have a strong interest in solving technical problems across cybersecurity, systems administration, and data science. I enjoy understanding how systems work (or don't), identifying opportunities to improve them, and using technology, automation and analytical thinking to solve real-world challenges. My M.S. in computer science gives me specialized knowledge, and my background gives me hands-on experience in security operations and system administration positions. On top of that, I am active across cybersecurity competitions, GitHub and tech conferences.
I racked, configured RAID and set up the operating systems (Windows Server, Debian, Rocky Linux, Proxmox) on the servers in a university data center to support virtualization and AI capabilities. I have troubleshooted hardware and software issues on Dell Thin Clients and the virtual machines students used across campus. While I mostly focused on VDI, I also deployed, maintained and troubleshooted client laptops, desktops and phones for university faculty using Microsoft Intune. I analyzed and escalated anomalous logins and emails using Microsoft Defender XDR and Azure in the university's SOC as well.
